Rules
To keep the game fair and pleasant for everyone, the following rules apply on Germanic-Empire.com. By using the game you accept them.
1. Fair play
Exploiting programming errors (bugs/exploits) is forbidden. If you find an error that gives you an unfair advantage, please report it via the Support instead of exploiting it. Deliberate exploitation can lead to the loss of advantages gained thereby and to a ban.
2. Automation & bots
Playing with bots, scripts, auto-clickers or other software that automates game actions is not allowed. Germanic-Empire.com is a turn-based game intended for manual play.
3. Multiple accounts
Only one account per email address is allowed. You may, however, create a second account with a different email address. That account must not be misused to apply your own referral code to yourself — that can lead to deletion of the account. Independently of that, multiple accounts must not be used for mutual advantage (e.g. transferring resources/gold between your own accounts, feeding each other in combat, artificially inflating marketplace listings).
4. Tone of communication
A respectful tone applies in chat, in messages and in the guild. In particular the following are not allowed: insults, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, sexually suggestive content, glorification of violence, and advertising/spam for other games or services.
5. Account security & transfer
Do not share your login details with third parties. You are responsible for actions carried out through your account — regardless of who actually performed them.
6. Naming
Character names must not be offensive, discriminatory or misleading (e.g. impersonating a team/admin role). We reserve the right to change inappropriate names without prior notice.
7. Real-money trading
Buying or selling accounts, in-game gold, items or other game content for real money outside official channels offered by us is prohibited.
8. Assignment of team roles
Impersonating a member of the Germanic-Empire team (admin/moderator) is forbidden. Official team members are marked accordingly in the game.
Enforcement
Violations of these rules can, depending on severity, lead to warnings, temporary bans or permanent blocking of the account. We reserve the right to adapt these rules as needed.
